Drawings are available in a variety of formats, most of which are only viewable on CAD drawing programs. These include
DFX (Autocad)
DWF (Autodesk)
DWG (AutoCad and others)
VWX (VectorWorks)
There are also 2 formats that are more widely viewable - PDF (portable document format) and GIF (Graphics Interchange Format), usable in most drawing programs. If you do not have a CAD program, try one of these:
PDF
Portable Document Format (PDF) is a file format developed by Adobe to present documents, including text formatting and images, in a manner independent of hardware, software and operating systems.
GIF
The Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) is a bitmap (as distinguished from Vector) image format. It is in widespread usage on the internet due to its wide support and portability between applications and operating systems.
