Removable Bollards

REMOVABLE BOLLARDS enable you to block vehicle access to an area and then open it when needed. The metal bollard slides into an underground sleeve and can be locked with a padlock.

• Schedule 40 steel
• Galvanized surface optional and highly recommended
• 4" or 6" diameter round steel bollard x 60" (42" above ground)
• Weight: 4" is 55 lbs; 6" is 95 lbs.
• Inground base: 18" x 5" (for 4") or 7" (for 6") square buried steel locking sleeve with self-closing hinged cover
  
• Plastic Cover: 1/8" wall plastic bollard cover, available in many colors, with dome or flat top

The bollard with plastic cover measures 42" above ground, with 18" of the metal bollard set into the sleeve below. The base is normally set in a poured concrete footing that extends below the frost line, so size your concrete footings accordingly. Call the government department for construction permits in your area if you do not know what it is.
